The Brother HL-5380DN Laser Printer is compact with just 
39.3cm in width, 38.4cm in depth and 25.9cm in height. It weighs 9.5kg. This workgroup printer uses laser technology to produce amazing print quality. It has a print speed of up to 30ppm for B/W of A4 210 x 297mm and up to 13ppm for B/W duplex print of A4 210 x 297 mm. It has of a built in status LCD.
This diligent laser printer supports a maximum resolution of 1200 x 1200dpi and features Brother HQ 1200 image enhancement technology. In addition, it supports Duplex printout enabling you to print on both sides. The first print is out in as fast as 8.5 sec. The language simulation supported includes PostScript 3, PCL 6, IBM ProPrinter XL and EPSON FX-850. It consists of 66 PostScript, 66 PCL 6, 12 bitmapped and 13 barcode fonts. The efficient Brother HL-5380DN Workgroup Laser Printer is provided with a 250 sheets input tray and a 50 sheets multipurpose tray. It consists of a NEC VR5500 processor with 266 MHz speed and 32 MB RAM that can be extended to up to 544 MB. It allows you to use envelopes, transparencies, labels, plain paper, bond paper and recycled paper for printing. The minimum media size supported is 70 x 116mm while the maximum is 216 x 406.4 mm. The supported media sizes include ANSI A (Letter) (216 x 279 mm), Executive (184 x 267 mm), A4 (210 x 297 mm), A5 (148 x 210 mm), B5 (176 x 250 mm), A6 (105 x 148 mm) and B6 (125 x 176 mm). The supported data link protocols include Ethernet and Fast Ethernet along with TCP/IP Network/Transport protocol and SNMP, Telnet, HTTP and HTTPS remote management protocols. It is certified to work with Windows Vista platform. This smart laser printer is very efficient and economical in energy consumption. It consumes 675 watts of power when in use and 75 watts in standby/sleep mode.
