Using laser technology the new HP LaserJet 4250n Laser Computer Printer is a workgroup printer which supports monochrome output. While the weight of this printer is 22.7 kg, its dimensions are 37.7cm x 41.8cm x 45.1cm.
This HP laser printer is capable of printing with a speed of 43ppm and with a resolution 1200 dpi x 1200 dpi. The added built-in device is a status LCD. Exhibiting wired connectivity technology, the offered interfaces to this printer are Parallel, USB and Ethernet 10/100Base-TX. The supported Image Enhancement Technology is HP FastRes 1200. The first print can be obtained in just 8 seconds. Optional duplex print is also supported by this printer.
The installed processor is MIPS MIPS64 20Kc 460 MHz while the equipped RAM size is 64MB that can be expanded up to 512 MB.
The provided input trays are 100-sheet multipurpose tray and 500-sheet input tray. The different types of media which can be used in this product are envelopes, transparencies, labels, plain paper, cards, bond paper, and recycled paper. This printer supports a maximum media size of 216 mm x 356 mm.
The other supported media sizes are ANSI A (Letter) (216 x 279 mm), Legal (216 x 356 mm), Executive (184 x 267 mm), A4 (210 x 297 mm), A5 (148 x 210 mm), B5 (176 x 250 mm) and JIS B5 (182 x 257 mm). The media weights can vary between 60 g/m2 – 200 g/m2. The total media capacity comes to 600 sheets while maximum is 3100 sheets. The output tray is capable of supporting 300 sheets.
Another significant feature is a plug-in module print server networking feature. This device is supplied with a black toner cartridge. The monthly duty cycle of the device is 200000 pages.
The required voltage for its functioning is AC 230V while the needed frequency is 50/60 Hz. While operating the power used is 680 watt whereas at sleep mode only 20 watt is needed. This printer will function only if the temperature range is 10 °C-32 °C and the humidity range is 10 – 80%.
