The new Okidata OKI C8800n Laser Printer supports a printing speed up to 26 ppm in colour and up to 32ppm in monochrome. This machine takes only 10 seconds to print the first page in colour and 9 seconds for the first page in monochrome. The maximum resolution of the printer is 1200 dpi horizontally and 600 dpi vertically. Media types used in this printer are Plain Paper, Overhead Transparencies, Envelopes, Labels and Banners. The paper weight supported in the main tray is 20-32 lb, in the second tray is 20-47 lb. and in the manual tray is 20-110 lb. The maximum media size supported by the main tray is 4.1" (W) x 17.0" (L) and in the multi-purpose tray is 3.0" (W) x 47.24" (L).
The out put tray capacity of the printer is 250 sheets, and the input tray capacity is 300 sheets. This printer has a RAM capacity of 256 MB and it can be extended up to 768 MB. The device also supports a 40 GB hard disk drive. One of the important features is that the device supports HD Colour Print Technology and Job Accounting Software. The device supports digital LED technology with the support of a 500 MHz Power PC processor.
