Samsung Electronics, a fast growing brand with its wide range of innovative products, is always striving to provide unique solutions to its customers. Now, they have come up with, what they claim to be the world’s smallest and lightest colour laser printer – Samsung CLP-300.
Samsung CLP-300 Laser Printer comes in a cuboid design and is equipped with a 150-sheet fully covered multipurpose tray. This protects the paper from dust. The tray can be expanded and contracted to accept a variety of paper types and sizes. The print mechanism consists of four cylindrical toner containers that easily slide into the front of the photoconductor unit. The colour-coded toners will fit into its concerned socket only. A toner waste bottle is fitted on the left hand.
To indicate the status of the printer (whether it is online) there is a status light on the control panel. The control panel also consist of four toner indicators. To stop the printing process, you just need to press the rotund orange button on the control panel. With the USB socket on the back side of the printer, you can easily connect it to your PC.
Samsung CLP-300 Colour Laser Printer comes with Samsung CHORUSm 300MHz processor. It provides up to 2400 x 600 dpi effective output and comes with a print speed of up to 16 pages per minute in Black & White and up to 4 ppm in colour. With dimensions of 390 x 344 x 265mm, the printer weighs 14kg. It has 32MB built-in memory and is quiet in operation.
Samsung CLP-300 Laser Printer combines inkjet-like convenience with laser-quality documents. It is a compact printer, which might appeal to the home users and can be installed in a home environment without dominating a smaller-sized room.
