Adding more competition in the market for LaserJet printers, Tallygenicom
introduces the all new Tallygenicom 8108N Laser Printer. This colour, heavy-duty, workgroup laser printer weighs a massive 29 kg and has the dimensions 42.0 x 48.0 x 38.5 cm (W x H x D). It has a spectacular print speed of up to 31ppm for greyscale printing with first print out at 12 sec and up to 8ppm for colour printing with the first print out at 18 sec. The unit provides a maximum resolution of 1200 x 600 dpi for both colour and black and white printing. The unit has a clear crystal LCD for status display and uses the wired connectivity technology.
Master Mind
The laser printer runs on ARM9 200 MHz processor with a maximum installed RAM size of 64 MB. The unit supports for network connectivity with an integrated networking print server and has a fast 10Base-T/100Base-TX RJ45 Ethernet port and 4-pin Type B USB connectivity. The unit comes with a black, cyan, magenta and yellow toner cartridge each having a capacity to print up to 1000 pages and also a waste toner collector for collecting toner wastes of about 12000 pages. Some of the network protocols that the unit adheres while on the network are /IP, LPR/LPD, SMTP, FTP, RAW and the remote management protocols are SNMP, HTTP, IPP 1.0 and IPP 1.1.
Media Maze
Tallygenicom 8108N Colour Laser Printer has a maximum media handling capacity of 750 sheets with the capacity of the auto load media feeder being 250 sheets and that of the output tray is 250 sheets. The duty cycle of the unit is 20000 pages per month.
The unit has the ability to handle various media types such as Envelopes, transparencies, labels, plain paper, glossy paper, and heavy-weight paper. The different media (sheets) sizes supported are ANSI A (Letter) (216 x 279 mm), Legal (216 x 356 mm), Executive (184 x 267 mm), A4 (210 x 297 mm), A5 (148 x 210 mm), B5 (176 x 250 mm) and that of the envelopes are International DL (110 x 220 mm) and Com-10 (105 x 241 mm). The supported media weight ranges from 60 g/m2 – 210 g/m2 and the maximum media size supported is 216 mm x 356 mm (custom size).
