Xerox has once again launched a very powerful and performance oriented printer, under the name Xerox Phaser 5500N Laser Printer.
The print speed of Xerox Phaser 5500N Monochrome Laser Printer is 50ppm. Laser monochrome is the print technology used in this printer. The offered resolution is 1200 x 1200 dpi. The first page is out in 3 seconds. The paper input capacity comes to 1100 sheets, (1 x 100 sheet multipurpose tray, 2 x 500 sheet input tray). It features a wide format printing (up to 11″ x 17″).
A memory of 128MB is installed in the device which can be expanded to 512MB. The provided wired connectivity options are parallel, USB, and 10/100 base-TX Ethernet. This printer is compatible with PC and Mac. 1 year is the offered warranty for parts and labour of this device. Its processor speed is 500 MHz. The languages used are true adobe, postscript, 3TM, PCL 5e and PCL 6 emulations with automatic sensing and switching. The fonts used are 137 resident PS fonts and 81 PCL.
